About Us

IBAA is a community-centred organization that was started by a cohort of visionary Biodynamic students who inherited the traditional knowledge of their forebearers. With a mission to expand the use of biodynamic methods, enrich agriculture, and foster sustainable growth in rural areas, IBAA is dedicated to empowering indigenous farmers to achieve economic and environmental sustainability. IBAA is rooted in ancestral wisdom and guided by the principles of biodynamic agriculture.

We provide biodynamic training, facilitate access to local and international markets, and connect communities through dynamic networking initiatives. By creating opportunities for collaboration and education, we aim to uplift farmers and promote sustainable practices that honour Africa's rich agricultural heritage.

IBAA is proud of its growing footprint, with networking efforts already underway in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt and Botswana. We’ve also taken our message to the global stage, with our representatives attending biodynamic networking events in Switzerland and Poland. These milestones reflect our commitment to spreading awareness and building connections that support our mission.
